Speech to text

I think I’m going crazy. I’ve begun talking to my computer. Revolutionary as it may seem, it is still quite a tedious task. It took me 15 minutes to type that previous sentence. Maybe it’s got something to do with my Indian accent or maybe it’s a devious plot to change my accent to an American one. In fact the moment I start talking with an American accent it picks up all my words perfectly. It’s kind of sad that I lose my individuality to my computer, my glorious Indian accent lost to the evil machinations of the western corporate world. Sad thing is my computer is learning from my accent, so the longer I speak with my American accent the harder it’s gonna be for it to learn my Indian accent. I guess I’m gonna stop now, ‘cause I’m feeling pretty pathetic staying awake at 5:30 AM talking to my computer in an alien accent.
Yup, that’s about it.

  2. i presume you run a windows machine. microsoft is evil. try google voice, either in google search or any of its other apps in a smartphone - it has different accent settings for different geographical regions, to the detail of options upto english [tamil accent], english [malayalam accent] and so on. try it, its fun.
